About

This converted fisherman’s cottage overlooks Beadnell bay, Northumberland. A stone’s throw from the beach and nestled within Kipper Court (as it is known locally) this self-catering cottage has private parking and a walled garden which leads directly onto the beach. This serene coastal retreat retains has many original features such as the wood panelling, flooring and working open fire. Little Auk is a self-catering holiday rental which sleeps five with a spacious sitting room, dining area and a third floor ‘observatory room.’ When these buildings were converted from fisherman dwellings in the 1930s, the story goes that the developer kept this beach cottage to give to his daughter as a wedding present because it boasted maximum sunlight and unrivalled views.
